And so it begins...

Hello everyone out there in internets land! For those of you who don't know me (and if you don't, why are you here?) my name is Mike, and for the next year of my life I'm going to be volunteering my time in wonderful Jackson County, Kentucky as a long term volunteer with the Christian Appalachian Project. You might ask yourself, why do that, dummy? Well, I feel like it's where I'm supposed to be, so here I am! For the next year, I'm going to be periodically updating you (yes, you) on the goings on at Camp Andrew Jackson, and then at the Jackson County Volunteer House, as I transition from Summer Camp Coordinator to Housing Volunteer. Thanks to my awesome parents and sis and broseph, I have a sweet video camera that I'll use to do most of my posts. Some may be informative, others insightful, some just a glimpse at what a crazy dude with near perfect teeth and a penchant for exaggeration finds awesome.

Because that's what I am. Awesome.

So, without further ado, it's the Camp AJ vLog #1!!!

Enjoy.

By the way, my video camera is awesome, Dad. Youtube just makes the video look crappy.

Cheers!

mike
